Skygaze Academy of Traditional Astrology (also known as SATA)
SATA was established by Cecily Han, a famous traditional astrologer in Chinese society. SATA strives its best to be the “guardian of traditional astrological knowledge”, is the only academy integrating teaching and publication of traditional astrology in Chinese society. SATA’s publication started its activities in 2017. It unites professional translators and publishing resources to seek historical sources of literature by well-known traditional astrologers, not only for tracing the thread of the academic development of traditional astrology, but also for making the hidden traditional wisdom reachable by Chinese readers and passing the wisdom on to our next generation. SATA takes the training of professional astrologers and teachers as its mission. SATA’s teachers have been participating actively in the development of courses for different levels.
SATA has also been introducing the writings and teachings of international astrologers to Chinese society. Many of its students have developed themselves into many roles in the academy: lecturers, translators, columnists, consultants, administrator, even partners who endeavor to make their dreams come true together.SATA advocates the avant-garde concept of "digital nomads". With the help of the fast and efficient communication properties of internet, all members work online and all services are achieved online, too.
In the near future, SATA will incorporate international certification system of traditional astrology into a long-term plan, opening up more possibilities for students with ambitions in astrological careers.
